Multiplayer Games

I think one of the things we'll start seeing for the new year is more emphasis on multiplayer games, specifically in the casual game market.

I came across a great site -- come2play -- that offers people the ability to create multiplayer games using their open-source API, as well as create your own websites that leverage their widgets.

In about 10 mins. I set up my new multiplayer website: YouGotSkooled.com. I was impressed with how easy it was to implement, and they even do a revenue sharing program ads.

Check it out and then go create your own multiplayer game website!

My new career online

Well, I'm taking the plunge and doing what I've always wanted to do... start my own online business(es).

I haven't quit my day job or anything like that, I'm just starting to expand my income by adding cool websites online that generate income.

So to start with, I've launched a couple of game sites: www.viralonlinegames.com and www.supergeekgames.com

The idea behind these sites are to see what I can do to generate income from ads only.

I'm using adsense on one site, and adbrite on the other. I'm interested in seeing which one brings in more revenue. Another money-making element is Mochiads. I'm hosting Mochiads games and will get a small percentage of the revenue generated from game play. The advantage is that the developer who wrote the game gets paid, and the publisher (that's me) get's a little too. It's a win-win for everyone.
