Too many gadgets

That's what people tell me. "iBrent, you have too many gadgets". Well, it's true. But they're so fun to play with! As a Flash platform developer I am always interested in the latest mobile devices that support Adobe Flash Player.

I have a Chumby, a Nokia n800, an Asus Eee PC, an XO laptop, and a T-mobile Dash. With all these devices, I have access to Flash Player 9, Flash Lite 2.1, and Flash Lite 3.0. This allows me to develop and test content that works on both desktop computers and mobile devices. I love it!

Mobile blogging

I'm typing this post from my Nokia N800. I'm using a bluetooth keyboard, (Think Outside The Box - Stowaway BT Keyboard). The keyboard is the perfect size, and there is only a slight delay from the keyboard to the N800.

What I like about this setup is it's portable and and fun to use. The only drawback is the screen is small can be difficult to read. You can zoom in on pages, but then you have to manipulate the scrollbars to see everything.

All in all, I think mobile blogging is the way to go.

Long time listener, first time caller...

Have you ever heard that on the radio before? I often wonder why people say that, and then I realized why when I made the first step to start this blog.

I'm nervous, anxious, and excited to be writing this blog. I think that's how most people feel when they call in to a radio show. I guess they say that because they don't want their first experience on the radio to be embarrassing. That's how I feel about this blog. I don't want my first blogging experience to be embarrassing, so as the title suggests, I'm a long time listener, first time caller.
